Antonis is a Ph.D. holder in Electronic Engineering from the Centre for Communications Systems Research (CCSR) of the University of Surrey (UK) and a holder of a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA, Greece). His research activities focused on policy-based management of wireless ad hoc networks, the area where he has earned the PhD title and has published a number of scientific articles. He is currently a Research Fellow at Kios Research Center. His main research interests include Future Internet and Next Generation Wireless Networks, self-management and autonomic networking, critical infrastructure systems, wireless mesh and mobile ad hoc networks, and convergence of fixed and mobile networks.
