Guests of honour will be Dr.-Ing. Ralf Eickhoff from Dresden University of Technology and Project Coordinator of MIMAX (Session 1) an EU-funded project (www.ict-mimax.eu) under the 7th Framework Programme that aims to develop a novel low-power consuming, low-cost MIMO transceiver and Mr. Miguel Alborg from IDI Eikon and Project Coordinator of T-SENIORITY (Session 2) a pilot type CIP project that deals with "Expanding the benefits of Information Society to Older People through digital TV channels." Faculty and researchers from the KIOS Research Centre will conclude the technical workshop in Session 3.
